About the library

A simple PayPal library for .NET. Simple implementation of the Express Checkout. A simple library for non-technical users.
The library allows creating custom checkout. It incorporates three main methods: for setting up the payment, for getting the shipping details from PayPal and for confirming the payment.

How to use

The library is documented in the provided XML file with the intelli-sense data integrated.

The main class in the library is the PayPalAPICaller class.
To use this class the following steps are necessary:

1. Instantiate a single object of the class and store it on the application level (not mandatory, the class can be reinstantiated for each method call, as it does not store any data internaly except for the API credentials). If the class is instantiated for each method call, before each method call, the credentials should be set.


2. Set the PayPal API credentials using the SetCredentials function.


3. Invoke the ExpressCheckout method which will call PayPal API to obtain the token and start the transaction.


4. Redirect the user to the provided url.


5. After the user is redirected back to your site from PayPal, process their shipping details using the method GetShippingDetails.


6. Show a confirmation message to the user and allow them to confirm the payment


7. Confirm the payment using the ConfirmPayment function.


8. Process the payment with your own application logic.

NOTE: Make sure to use the same amount and currency in the ExpressCheckout and ConfirmPayment methods.

For testing set the Sandbox attribute to true (it is false by default).

If they pay you then you can edit their payment status from admin panel and payment confirmation email will be sent to them.

Let your users pay for services easily via PayPal and Skrill using the PaymentTerminal.

Using this tool you can charge the customer for your services or product by only defining the product price, amount and the currency – and this for as many products you´d like.

To use the tool you have to upload to your server all the included files (two PHP file, a css, images and a js folder). No other installation or configuration is necessary. The recipient of the payment can be defined in process.php for both PayPal and Skrill. Both form´s first row is a hidden input that holds the e-mail address of the payment recipient, this has to modified in order to receive the payment on the account that belongs to the given e-mail address. The e-mail addresses has to be previously registered on both pages (PayPal and Skrill).
